Lavender Products

“Lavender” is derived from the Latin word “lavare,” which means “to wash.” The herb has been used for centuries in cooking and fragrance, as well as for cleaning and medicinal purposes. It is best known for its relaxing, calming and healing properties.

Bridges Domestic Violence Center has partnered with Walnut Hill Lavender to provide locally grown lavender that is used in a variety of products to soothe the mind and body. The products are assembled by women in our program who are rebuilding their lives. Working with the lavender gives our clients an opportunity to wash away the old and have a fresh start.
